Kelly & Kathy Johnson

Following a call to missions, the Johnson family arrived in Kenya in December, 1999. More than a decade and a half later, they still count it a privilege to serve the Lord in Africa!

Kelly & Kathy are both graduates of Christ for the Nations Institute and hold diplomas in Practical Theology and Advanced Missions. The key focus of their ministry in Kenya is training national pastors and church leaders.

Kelly has developed and written the curriculum for Bible School in a Briefcase, in which he is also the main instructor. He also preaches in local churches, ministry conferences, and assists local national pastors and ministers with additional training whenever possible.

Kathy assists Kelly in the BSIB and does the administrative work for BLM in Kenya.  She also takes care of logistics for visiting ministry teams.

The Johnsons have two college-aged daughters. Both girls grew up in Kenya and graduated from Rosslyn Academy in Nairobi. Though both currently reside in the US for their education, in their hearts, their home will always be Kenya.

Katie is a junior at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK.  She is studying Theatre Arts and French.

Karen is a enrolled in the Leadership Academy at Next Level Church in Ft Myers, FL, and is pursuing a degree in English with Regent University.

Both girls remain actively involved in missions.
