Making Disciples, Making a Difference

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.  II Timothy 3:15-17; I Thessalonians 2:13; II Peter 1:21

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  Deuteronomy 6:4; Exodus 3:14; Isaiah 48:16; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His future bodily return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
Matthew 1:23; John 5:22-23

We believe that the only means of personal salvation is faith in Christ, and in Him alone.  Romans 10:9-10; Galatians 3: 1-9; I Corinthians 2:1-5; Ephesians 2:8-10

We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
Acts 4:12; Romans 5:8-13, 10:9; James 1:21; Ephesians 2:8; Hebrews 9:13-14

We believe that all who put their faith in Christ receive the deposit of the Holy Spirit dwelling in their heart, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an ongoing life giving experience available for all believers who ask for it.
Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8, 8:12-17, 10:44-46; I Corinthians 12:1-31

We believe that regeneration and empowerment by the Holy Spirit is essential for the process of sanctification and moral purity in this life.
Titus 3:5

We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
Matthew 8:16-17; Acts 5:16; James 5:14-16

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.  Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 20:11-15; I Thessalonians 4:16-17

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, with divinely appointed duties for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:22, 4:11-16; Hebrews 12:23; I Corinthians 12:13, 28, 14:12

We believe in the Ordinances of the Church, observing them as a result of salvation and an answer of a clean conscience toward God.
